10cups worth of ground beans of really strong coffee...Kenya AA, Espresso blends, etc.
I am freezing my bizzles off right now (and I don't even HAVE bizzles). So I made a little treat straight from the east coast of Africa. It is similar to Mexican coffee but a lot spicier.
teabag
1tsp ground cardamom
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 cup honey
Cut the corner of the teabag and pour out the tea. Fill teabag with the spices and close with whatever you have...string, plain floss, etc. Plop in the bottom of coffee pot. Brew coffee over this per your usual routine. After brewed, sit for 15 minutes and remove spice bag. Stir in the honey.
Traditionally this is served with cane sugar and NO cream. I like to add a little coconut milk to it (Silk brand).
