olive tapenade



recommend this with whole foods homemade tortilla chips even though they are little death bombs.
2 cups of pitted greek olives, calamata, cured, whatever you got
2tsp. crushed garlic
1/2 tsp. crushed pepper
2 sprigs basil
2 sprigs italian parsely
2T. lemon juice
1/4 cup good olive oil
1T. balsamic
1/2 ripe tomato, finely chopped

chop olives finely. Mix in a bowl with the remainder of the ingredients.  This is also a nice mixture for over bruschetta if you sprinkle a bit of romano on afterwards.
