It should be illegal to eat this fig salad

It is so yummy...SO yummy

1 pint fresh figs, quartered
1 cup cherries, chopped and pitted
1/2 cup crumbled stilton cheese
1T. chopped thyme
1T. lemon zest

Dressing
3T. balsamic
splash of EVOO
1T. honey
1/2 tsp. crushed ginger paste

Mix the dressing separately.  Combine first 5 ingredients and toss with dressing.  Would serve with tuna steak marinated in a balsamic vinagrette or something similar.  Goes well with a young pinot noir or beaujolais.
